Barbera, one of the most common varieties in Piemonte.

The wine is very sensitive to growing techniques and vineyard characteristics, and it can be made anywhere between an everyday wine (Barbera Classico) and a full bodied, higly concentrated wine suitable for aging (Barbera Minola).
